Program Achievements

The control research of Hoo and Riggs has been very productive. 

PI Hoo's leading accomplishments include:

bulletExperiments in Fluid Flow of Collapsible Tubes with Internal One-way Biscupid Membranes
bulletFundamental Modeling of Hollow Micro-Particles Produced in a Spray Drying Process
bulletTransition Control Using State-shared Adaptive Model Predictive Control Framework
bulletFundamental modeling and model-based control of Multiple Effect Falling Film Evaporator Plant.

PI Riggs' leading accomplishments include:

bulletCommercial beta-tests for pH control.
bulletLaboratory-scale pH neutralization.
bulletPilot-scale reactor pressure control.
