Time Domain Dielectric Spectrometer

The Dielectric spectrometer was built at TTU for the purpose of probing the dynamic heterogenity in polymer glasses. The set up comprises of a electrometer, high voltage supply, sample and integrating capacitor and a DAQ board interfaced to the PC through LabView program.

 

The specifications are

  • Time or frequency range - 10-6 to 106 Sec or Hz

  • High voltage supply range: 0 to 10000V

  • Electrometer Output: 0 to 2 V

  • Electrometer input: 0 to 250V
